This locomotive was the prototype for the 155 0-6-0 HO switcher released by Gilbert in 1950. It was once owned by Maury Romer, one of the original Chicago Flyer Employees who came to work for Gilbert when he purchased the company. He occupied several roles at Gilbert but is best known as the Engineering chief. Note the individual piping on the right side. |
