| Remarks | This photo shows a two side hand lettered paint sample for a Union Pacific caboose. One Side is lettered in black and the other side is lettered in red. A proposed catalog number of 33617 is also shown. This number matches the number assigned to a 1961 Union Pacific caboose in Maury Romer's IBM number list. The notation in that list notes "w/o lites," whereas this model appears to have the trucks for a lighted model. That list also notes "H . K," possibly for Hong Kong as a proposed place of manufacture. |
